Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room provided a mix of comfort and disappointments. The tidiness and convenience, along with expected amenities like tea/coffee, were satisfactory. However, the outdated en suite and lack of proper decoration brought down the overall experience. The view was lovely, but the room's flaws didn't justify the price tag of £95 for a one-night stay. The window wouldn't open, the room lacked modern touches, and cleanliness was subpar.
The hotel provides rooms that seemed a bit dated but come with breakfast at no extra expense, indicating a need for updating. Nevertheless, the value for money is decent, making it worth considering for a visit.
The hotel has a mix of pros and cons. The rooms are very dated and in need of an upgrade, but they were clean, extremely comfortable, spacious, and clean. The service was fantastic, with extremely helpful and kind staff, although they were distinctly rude to us and very unfriendly in manner. The location is great, with wonderful food, very helpful staff, and good value for money, although it was chosen for easy access to the A38 to Plymouth. The dining experience was excellent, in a pleasant location, making us feel like royalty at breakfast. The facilities were also good, under the covered area below our room.
