However, the outdated en suite and lack of proper decoration brought down the overall experience. The view was lovely, but the room's flaws didn't justify the price tag of £95 for a one-night stay. The window wouldn't open, the room lacked modern touches, and cleanliness was subpar.

The location is great, with wonderful food, very helpful staff, and good value for money, although it was chosen for easy access to the A38 to Plymouth. The dining experience was excellent, in a pleasant location, making us feel like royalty at breakfast. The facilities were also good, under the covered area below our room.
